Industrial Air Washer Manufacturer: Units up to 50,000 CFM

NextAir Systems is an industrial air washer manufacturer. We design, fabricate, and assemble air washers in our own 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, up to 50,000 CFM (about 85,000 CMH) in a single unit, with multi-bank arrangements for larger air volumes and custom-built systems engineered to the project. Manufacturing and assembly are done in-house except for bought-out items such as motors and drives, and our units ship to customers worldwide.

An air washer cools, cleans, and humidifies air in one evaporative process, which makes it one of the most energy-efficient ways to condition large volumes of air in hot, dry, dusty conditions. It works best where the air is dry enough for evaporation to cool it, so we check your design wet-bulb conditions before recommending one. Our guide to industrial air washers explains where the technology works and where it stops working.

Configurations We Build

  • Single-stage: focused on cooling and dust removal, suited to general industrial floor cooling
  • Two-stage: more precise control of both humidity and air purity, for applications with tighter tolerances
  • Custom-built: engineered for high-temperature environments, chemical-heavy operations, or airflow requirements a standard configuration does not fit

Depending on the configuration, the water-contact zone uses rotating discs, saturated cellulose pads, or atomizing nozzles. Every unit has a water reservoir with recirculation, so only the evaporated water needs replacing, droplet eliminators that stop water carrying over into the ductwork or the space, an induced draft fan, and pre-filtration at the intake.

Single-Unit Range: Up to 50,000 CFM

Ten standard sizes cover single-unit duty. Sizes in between, and larger, are built to the project. The area a unit covers depends on ceiling height, the air change rate you need, and the cooling load, so we size from your actual numbers and not from a rule of thumb.

Rated airflow (CFM) Approx. airflow (CMH) Typical duty
5,000 8,500 Small workshop bay or packaging area
7,500 12,700 Production bay or small workshop hall
10,000 17,000 Mid-size production hall section
12,500 21,200 Production hall or textile department
15,000 25,500 Large production area
20,000 34,000 Large hall or warehouse zone
25,000 42,500 Very large production hall
30,000 51,000 Large factory bay or warehouse
40,000 68,000 Major hall or warehouse section
50,000 85,000 Largest single-unit duty: very large halls and warehouses

Multi-Bank and Custom Systems

Above 50,000 CFM we build multi-bank arrangements, with several units side by side serving one hall or several zones. A 150,000 CFM requirement, for example, is three 50,000 CFM units. Beyond that, systems are custom-engineered to the project’s air volume, layout, and conditions, from the psychrometric design point onward.

Where an Air Washer Works, and Where It Does Not

Evaporative cooling lowers temperature by raising humidity, so it suits hot, dry climates and dusty process areas, and it is limited where the air is already humid. Saudi Arabia has some of the best conditions for it and some that are poorly suited, and Dubai is where it needs the most careful evaluation. We would rather tell you that before you buy than after.

Fabricated and Assembled In-House

We work from a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility that has:

  • Motorized roller machines
  • 10-ton EOT cranes for moving large casings and tanks
  • Hydraulic press brakes for sheet-metal work
  • Hydraulic shearing for cutting sheet
  • MIG welding and TIG welding lines for casings and water tanks
  • Computerized balancing machines for blower impellers
  • Test instruments and other basic factory machines

Casings, frames, and tanks are fabricated and assembled on our floor, which lets the layout, inlet and outlet positions, and water connections follow your building. Bought-out items such as motors and drives are selected and matched to the unit.

Industries We Build Air Washers For

Lead Times, Shipping, and Export

Lead time starts at 30 days. Larger units, multi-bank systems, and custom projects take longer, and the delivery schedule is confirmed with the quotation.

Our exports go worldwide, led by the Middle East and Africa. Our air washer guidance by country includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Oman, Egypt, and Jordan, or browse all locations.

Certified Quality Systems

We manufacture under ISO 9001:2015 quality, ISO 14001:2015 environmental, and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety certification, and you can find out more about us on the About page.

What We Need to Quote an Air Washer

  • The airflow you need, or the hall dimensions, ceiling height, and air change rate
  • Design conditions: peak dry-bulb and wet-bulb temperatures at your site
  • The supply air temperature you want to reach
  • Water: availability, quality, and hardness, since water treatment is easy to underestimate
  • The environment: dust load, any chemicals or fumes, and whether the site is coastal
  • Single-stage or two-stage, based on how tightly humidity and air purity must be held
  • Site details: voltage and frequency, space limits, and how the air will be delivered

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you an air washer manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a manufacturer. Our industrial air washers are designed, fabricated, and assembled in our own 30,000 sq ft factory, complete in-house except for bought-out items such as motors and drives.

What is the largest air washer you build as a single unit?

Up to 50,000 CFM (about 85,000 CMH). Larger air volumes are built as multi-bank arrangements, and very large or unusual projects are custom-engineered.

Will an air washer work in a humid coastal climate?

Evaporative cooling depends on dry air. Where the design wet-bulb temperature is high, the cooling is limited, so we evaluate your design conditions first and tell you plainly if another technology suits better. Our guidance for Dubai and Saudi Arabia shows how much it varies by place and season.

What is the difference between single-stage and two-stage?

A single-stage unit mainly cools and removes dust, which suits general industrial floor cooling. A two-stage unit gives tighter control of humidity and air purity where tolerances matter.

What is the minimum lead time?

Orders begin at 30 days. How long yours takes depends on its size and the project's scale, and you receive the schedule with the quotation.

Do you export air washers?

Yes, worldwide. The Middle East and Africa are the markets where we are strongest.
