Axial Fan Manufacturer: Industrial Axial Fans up to 1,600 mm and 100 HP
NextAir Systems is an axial fan manufacturer. We design and build industrial axial fans in our own 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, for recirculation, ventilation, and exhaust, with impeller diameters up to 1,600 mm and motors up to 100 HP (about 75 kW). Our customers are spread across the world, and the Middle East and Africa are our strongest markets.
Each fan is engineered to your duty point and not sold from a fixed catalogue size. We start from your airflow, pressure, gas conditions, and site, and agree the impeller, casing, material, and drive that suit them. If a duty falls outside what we build, we say so early.
If you are still deciding what the duty needs, our guide to industrial axial fans covers fan curves, the fan laws, air density, and sizing with worked numbers, and how to size an axial fan walks through a selection. This page covers what we manufacture and how to get a quote.
What We Manufacture
- Impeller diameter: up to 1,600 mm
- Static pressure: up to 2,400 Pa
- Air volume: up to 185,000 m³/h (about 51 m³/s)
- Motor power: up to 100 HP (about 75 kW)
- Duties: recirculation, ventilation, and exhaust
- Materials: mild steel (MS), stainless steel 304 (SS 304), and stainless steel 316 (SS 316)
- Drive: direct drive and belt drive
- Balance: impellers are dynamically balanced
Maximum flow and maximum pressure are separate limits of the range, not a single duty point, and the 100 HP motor limit applies on top of them. As an indication, at 75% total efficiency 100 HP (about 74.6 kW) corresponds to roughly 56 kW of air power, which is about 43 m³/s (about 155,000 m³/h) at 1,300 Pa. Every selection is confirmed against a fan curve; see how to read an axial fan curve. Where a duty is larger than one fan can deliver, we split it across two or more fans in parallel, which also adds redundancy.
Materials, Drive, and Delivery
General ventilation fans are built in mild steel. Where the atmosphere is corrosive, humid, or coastal, we build in SS 304 or SS 316, with SS 316 the better choice where chlorides are present; our guide to corrosion-resistant axial fans explains the trade-offs. Direct drive is compact and simple. Belt drive allows speed adjustment and keeps the motor out of hot or contaminated gas, and adjustable pitch versus a variable frequency drive covers how to control output.
To suit your freight, site, and handling, fans ship fully assembled, partially assembled, or as CKD (completely knocked down) kits for assembly on site. Motors and variable frequency drives are bought-out items, selected and matched to the fan.
What We Do Not Build
ATEX-certified and AMCA 99 spark-resistant fans, primary mine main fans, and large cooling-tower fans are outside what we build, as is any duty beyond the range above. Standard fans are supplied where the fan and its motor sit outside any classified zone. We say so early instead of forcing a selection; our guide to ATEX and spark-resistant axial fans explains the requirements.
Where Our Axial Fans Are Used
Our guidance by industry covers factory ventilation, cement plants, steel plants, power generation, chemical and petrochemical plants, foundries and metal casting, tunnels, metros, and car parks, surface mining and quarries, auxiliary mine ventilation, and cooling and heat-exchanger duties within our range.
How and Where We Build Our Fans
Our 30,000 sq ft factory is equipped for fan manufacture, with:
- Computerized dynamic balancing machines for impellers
- Hydraulic shearing machines for cutting sheet and plate
- A hydraulic press brake for bending
- Motorized roller machines for casings
- MIG welding lines and TIG welding lines, for mild steel and stainless steel
- 10-ton EOT cranes for lifting casings and heavy assemblies
- Test instruments, plus the other basic machines a working factory needs
Impellers, casings, and frames are fabricated here, so diameters, casing lengths, and mounting arrangements can follow your installation, and impellers are balanced on our own machines before they are fitted. Balance and vibration limits for ventilation fans are covered in our guide to fan vibration and ISO 14694.
Lead Times, Shipping, and Export
We can deliver from 30 days. Larger orders, stainless steel construction, and custom arrangements take longer, and the quotation states the delivery schedule.
Axial fans are supplied worldwide, with the Middle East and Africa leading, and we also supply Indian facilities directly. Our regional guidance includes Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Oman, Egypt, South Africa, and India, or browse all locations.
Certified Quality Systems
Our factory holds ISO 9001:2015 (quality), ISO 14001:2015 (environment), and ISO 45001:2018 (occupational health and safety) certification. You can read more about the company on our About page.
What to Provide When You Request a Quotation
- Duty point: airflow and the pressure basis, static or total
- System curve or resistance data, including any stall or surge concern
- Gas conditions: temperature, humidity, dust load, and any corrosive or flammable content
- Site conditions: altitude, ambient temperature range, and any coastal or chemical atmosphere
- Control needs: fixed duty, variable duty, or emergency operation
- Hazardous-area classification, if any, so we can tell you whether we can supply the fan
- Noise limits at the fan or at a boundary
- Installation: vertical, horizontal, wall, roof, duct, or open airway, and the space available
- Material (MS, SS 304, or SS 316), drive type, and how you want it shipped

Tell us the airflow, pressure, and site conditions and we will confirm a selection, or say plainly that the duty is outside our range. Contact us for a quote, or read the axial fan guide first if you are still working out the duty.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are you an axial fan manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. Our axial fans are designed, fabricated, and assembled in our own 30,000 sq ft factory. The motors and variable frequency drives are bought-out items, and everything else is made in-house.
What is the largest axial fan you build?
Impeller diameters up to 1,600 mm, air volumes up to 185,000 m³/h, static pressures up to 2,400 Pa, and motors up to 100 HP. These are separate limits, not one duty point, and larger duties are split across two or more fans in parallel.
Which materials do you offer?
Mild steel (MS), stainless steel 304 (SS 304), and stainless steel 316 (SS 316). Stainless steel suits corrosive, humid, or coastal atmospheres, and SS 316 is the better choice where chlorides are present.
Do you make direct-drive or belt-drive fans?
Both. Direct drive is compact and simple, and belt drive allows speed adjustment and keeps the motor out of hot or contaminated gas, at the cost of more maintenance.
Do you make ATEX or spark-resistant axial fans?
No. ATEX-certified and AMCA 99 spark-resistant fans are not part of what we build. Standard fans are supplied where the fan and its motor sit outside any classified zone, and for a classified area we tell you at the start so you can go to a specialist.
How are the fans shipped?
Fully assembled, partially assembled, or as CKD (completely knocked down) kits for assembly on site, whichever suits your freight, handling, and site.
What is the minimum lead time?
Our minimum is 30 days. Bigger orders and stainless steel construction take longer, so we state the schedule when we quote.
