Desiccant Dehumidifier Manufacturer: Industrial Systems from 500 to 20,000 CMH
NextAir Systems is a desiccant dehumidifier manufacturer. We design, fabricate, and assemble industrial desiccant dehumidifiers in our own 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, with standard single units from 500 to 20,000 CMH and custom-engineered or multi-unit systems above that. We export all over the world, and the Middle East and Africa are our strongest markets.
That matters when you are buying, because a desiccant dehumidifier is only as good as its fit to your actual conditions: your design dew point, your peak humidity season, the reactivation energy you have available, and the space and utilities on your site. Building the equipment ourselves means those details can be changed in the factory instead of worked around on site.
If you are still choosing between desiccant and refrigerant technology, start with our guide to desiccant vs refrigerant dehumidifiers. If you already know you need a desiccant system, the rest of this page covers what we build, what can be configured, and how to get a quote.
Industrial Desiccant Dehumidifier Range: 500 to 20,000 CMH
Our standard ND Series covers ten single-unit models. The figures below are rated at 27°C and 60% RH entering air, with a silica gel rotor and electric reactivation, so the models can be compared like for like. Moisture removal at your own design condition will differ, which is why we size against your actual conditions and not against a catalogue number.
| Model | Rated airflow (CMH) | Moisture removal (kg/hr) | Typical application scale |
|---|---|---|---|
| ND-0500 | 500 | 4.5 | Small dry room, laboratory, or archive space |
| ND-1000 | 1,000 | 9 | Small cold room, small pharmacy store, workshop |
| ND-2000 | 2,000 | 18 | Mid-size cold store, textile finished-goods store |
| ND-3500 | 3,500 | 31.5 | Pharmaceutical production room, mid-size warehouse |
| ND-5000 | 5,000 | 45 | Electronics manufacturing floor, aerospace curing area |
| ND-7500 | 7,500 | 67.5 | Large cold storage room, chemical powder handling |
| ND-10000 | 10,000 | 90 | Large distribution warehouse or cold store |
| ND-12500 | 12,500 | 112.5 | Large pharma manufacturing floor, large commercial building |
| ND-15000 | 15,000 | 135 | Large electronics fab, major distribution centre |
| ND-20000 | 20,000 | 180 | Very large single-zone warehouse or cold store |
Typical achievable humidity is 35 to 45% RH for process applications. Below 15% RH is available on engineered request, and molecular sieve rotor media is available for very low dew point dry rooms (under roughly 2% RH). Ask us for the ND Series technical datasheet for dimensions, electrical loads, and construction details for each model.
Custom and Multi-Unit Systems Above 20,000 CMH
Twenty thousand CMH is the practical ceiling for a single factory-built unit. Beyond that we build either a custom-engineered system for your facility or a bank of units working together, sharing a common plenum or ducted independently into the space.
Banks also give you redundancy. For a 42,000 CMH requirement that must still be met with one unit out of service, four 15,000 CMH units are the usual arrangement, because any three of them still deliver 45,000 CMH. A lead-lag controller decides which units run and staggers their reactivation cycles so the electrical peak stays manageable.
Manufactured in Our 30,000 Sq Ft Facility
Our factory is a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility equipped for heavy sheet-metal and fan work. The equipment on the floor includes:
- 10-ton capacity EOT cranes for handling cabinets, frames, and heavy assemblies
- Hydraulic press brake machines for bending
- Motorized roller machines
- MIG welding lines and TIG welding lines
- Hydraulic shearing machines
- Computerized dynamic balancing machines for blower impellers
- Test instruments and the other machines a working factory needs
For a buyer this has practical consequences. Cabinet dimensions, duct connection positions, and layout can be adjusted to your site instead of forcing your site to fit a fixed catalogue size. The formed and welded structure that carries the rotor, heaters, and fans is built under one roof. And because we balance blower impellers on computerized dynamic balancing machines, vibration, noise, and bearing life are things we can control directly on equipment that has to run continuously.
Standard Construction and Options
Standard units use a galvanized steel frame with powder-coated exterior panels, closed-cell internal insulation sealed against internal condensation, a silica gel rotor, a MERV 8 pre-filter, and a touchscreen control panel with humidity and dew point sensors. Options are matched to your duty:
- Molecular sieve rotor media for very low dew point requirements
- Stainless steel cabinet for washdown or food-contact-adjacent environments
- Coastal-grade corrosion coating for high-salinity sites
- MERV 13 or HEPA pre-filtration
- Steam or thermal-fluid reactivation in place of electric, recommended above ND-7500 where site utilities support it
- Variable frequency drives on process and reactivation fans for part-load savings
- BACnet or Modbus integration with your building management system
- Lead-lag controller for multi-unit banks
Voltage and frequency are configured to your country’s supply, at 50 or 60 Hz.
Industries We Build Desiccant Dehumidifiers For
A desiccant dehumidifier earns its place where low humidity is a process or compliance requirement and not a comfort setting. Our guidance by industry:
- Pharmaceutical: GMP production and storage areas that must hold a stable humidity
- Cold storage: preventing frost buildup and condensation
- Food industry: protecting products that are sensitive to water activity
- Electronics manufacturing: static control and moisture-sensitive component storage
- Aerospace: composite curing and bonding areas
- Chemical industry: resins and powders that absorb moisture from the air
- Textile industry: fiber that changes weight and behavior with humidity
- Warehouses: condensation and moisture damage to stored goods
- Factories: corrosion, weld quality, and product defects linked to humidity
- Commercial buildings: pools, plant rooms, and other high-moisture spaces
Lead Times, Shipping, and Export
Lead time depends on the size, capacity, and scale of the project. Our minimum is 30 days, and larger or custom-engineered systems take longer; we confirm a delivery schedule when we quote.
Models up to ND-7500 ship fully assembled, ND-10000 to ND-15000 ship as a single skid, and the largest, ND-20000, ships in two sections for assembly on site.
We export all over the world. The Middle East and Africa are our strongest markets, and we also supply facilities in India, with equipment specified around each region’s actual climate extremes. See our dehumidifier guidance for Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kenya, Egypt, and India, or browse all locations.
Certified Quality Systems
NextAir Systems manufactures under internationally certified management systems: ISO 9001:2015 for quality, ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, and ISO 45001:2018 for occupational health and safety. More about the company is on our About page.
What We Need to Quote a Desiccant Dehumidifier
- Airflow, or the room dimensions and air change rate if you are not sure of the airflow
- Design conditions: peak temperature and humidity, including your monsoon or summer peak, and the humidity you need to hold
- Moisture load: people, process, infiltration through doors, and any wet process in the space
- Reactivation energy available on site: electric, steam, or thermal fluid
- Site details: location and climate, voltage and frequency, space limits, and whether the site is coastal or washdown
- Whether you need one unit or a redundant arrangement
If you do not have all of this yet, send what you have and we will tell you what is missing. A proper humidity assessment of the space is the right starting point for any specification.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are you a desiccant dehumidifier manufacturer or a trading company?
We are a manufacturer. Our desiccant dehumidifiers are designed, fabricated, and assembled in our own 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, which has its own cranes, press brakes, rolling and shearing machines, MIG and TIG welding lines, and impeller balancing equipment.
What is the largest desiccant dehumidifier you make as a single unit?
Our largest standard single unit is the ND-20000, rated at 20,000 CMH and 180 kg of moisture removal per hour at 27°C and 60% RH entering air. For larger requirements we build custom-engineered systems or multi-unit banks.
What is the minimum lead time for an industrial dehumidifier?
From 30 days. The actual lead time depends on the size, capacity, and scale of the project, and we confirm it when we quote.
Do you export desiccant dehumidifiers?
Yes. We export all over the world, and the Middle East and Africa are our strongest markets.
Can a desiccant dehumidifier be customized for my facility?
Yes. Cabinet dimensions and connection positions, rotor media, reactivation energy source, materials and coatings, filtration, and controls can all be configured to your site and duty.
How do I know which model I need?
It depends on your airflow and the moisture load at your design condition, not on floor area alone. The table above is a rated comparison at 27°C and 60% RH, not a substitute for sizing against your own conditions, so send us your conditions and target humidity and we will size it.
