Air Purification System Manufacturer: Multi-Stage Units from 500 to 20,000 CMH

NextAir Systems is an air purification system manufacturer. We design, fabricate, and assemble multi-stage air purification units in our own 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility, from 500 to 20,000 CMH in a single factory-built unit, with multi-unit banks and sectionalised casings above that. Yes. We ship worldwide, and our strongest markets are the Middle East and Africa.

Our units supply continuous treated fresh air to workplaces, institutions, and commercial buildings. Each one combines particulate filtration, a UV-C germicidal chamber, and an optional gas-phase module for odour and VOC control in one horizontal housing, so a single piece of equipment replaces several separate stages.

If you are still working out what your building needs, start with our guide to centralized air purification systems and the guide to continuous fresh-air supply. This page sets out what we build, how it grows beyond 20,000 CMH, and how to request a quote.

One Housing Format, Scaled by a Standard Filter Grid

Every model is the same horizontal rectangular housing, built around the standard 610 x 610 mm filter module, a frame size used all over the world for HVAC filters. Housing length stays at 3,650 mm across the whole range, and only the cross-section grows as modules are added, so the design stays consistent and easy to service at every size.

The Stages, in Airflow Order

  • Inlet transition (250 mm): the damper and duct connection, bringing duct velocity down to the filter bank’s face velocity
  • Pre-filter (300 mm): a MERV 8 pleated panel that protects the later stages from coarse dust and extends fine-filter life
  • Fine filter (600 mm): MERV 13-14 extended media, the current general baseline for indoor air quality
  • UV-C germicidal chamber (900 mm): an open lamp chamber with about 0.45 seconds of residence time at design velocity, with lamp output and count specified to the target organism
  • Gas-phase module (350 mm, optional): proprietary media for odour and VOC control alongside the particulate and biological stages
  • Fan section (900 mm): a direct-drive centrifugal fan and motor, sized to the model’s design static pressure

HEPA filtration (99.97% at 0.3 microns) is available as an upgrade to, or in addition to, the fine filter for cleanroom, healthcare, or biological-containment duties, at the cost of a larger fine-filter section and a higher pressure drop.

Single-Unit Range: 500 to 20,000 CMH

Ten standard models cover single-unit duty. Face velocity is the airflow divided by the total filter module area.

Model Rated airflow (CMH) Filter modules Face velocity (m/s) Typical application scale
NAP-0500 500 1 0.37 Small office suite, clinic waiting room, single classroom
NAP-1000 1,000 1 0.75 Small retail unit, medical clinic, small restaurant
NAP-2000 2,000 1 1.49 Mid-size office floor, childcare centre, small gym
NAP-3500 3,500 2 1.31 Multi-room clinic, mid-size retail store, community centre
NAP-5000 5,000 2 1.87 Full office floor, school wing, small hotel
NAP-7500 7,500 3 1.87 Large office floor, multi-classroom school building, large clinic
NAP-10000 10,000 4 1.87 Corporate office building, large retail store, conference centre
NAP-12500 12,500 5 1.87 Large institutional building, hospital ward wing, large school
NAP-15000 15,000 6 1.87 Large commercial building, multi-storey office block
NAP-20000 20,000 8 1.87 Very large single-zone building, large institutional campus building

The design target is a face velocity of about 1.9 m/s, which balances pressure drop against filter life. NAP-0500, NAP-1000, and NAP-2000 share one housing footprint and run below that velocity on a single module, which means lower pressure drop and longer filter life, not a compromise. NAP-10000 and NAP-20000 are wider and ship as oversize-load freight. NAP-12500 and NAP-15000, despite their higher airflow, use a two-row module arrangement that keeps them narrower and on standard freight, because width, not airflow, decides the shipping class.

Above 20,000 CMH: Banks or One Sectionalised Casing

NAP-20000 is the practical ceiling for a single-piece housing. Beyond it there are two standard routes.

A bank of units. Two or more units in parallel suit buildings with several separate zones, such as floors or wings, or facilities that cannot tolerate a purification outage. For a 32,000 CMH requirement that must still be met with one unit out of service, four NAP-12500 units are the usual arrangement, because any three of them still deliver 37,500 CMH.

A sectionalised single casing. Where one continuous treatment train is preferred, a single casing can be built as two or more shippable sections, factory-fitted and tested, then bolted together and sealed on site. This keeps each section within standard transport dimensions however large the system becomes.

Built on Our Own Factory Floor

Our factory is a 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility. The equipment on the floor includes:

  • EOT cranes of 10-ton capacity
  • A hydraulic press brake for sheet-metal bending
  • Motorized rolling machines
  • MIG and TIG welding lines
  • Hydraulic shearing for cutting sheet
  • Computerized dynamic balancing machines for blower impellers
  • Test instruments and other basic factory machines

Housings, frames, and access panels are cut, bent, and welded here, so connection positions, access sides, and layout can be adapted to a plant room that was never designed around a catalogue size. The fan sections use centrifugal fans, and we manufacture our own centrifugal blowers if you need a fan supplied separately.

Standard Construction and Options

Standard construction is a galvanized steel frame with powder-coated exterior panels, the MERV 8 pre-filter and MERV 13-14 fine filter, a UV-C lamp bank, and hinged or removable access panels at every stage for filter change-out and lamp service. Standard controls include a local control panel with a pressure differential gauge across each filter stage and run-hour and lamp-hour tracking, and a direct-drive centrifugal fan with a backward-curved wheel. Options include:

  • A HEPA upgrade (99.97% at 0.3 microns) in place of, or in addition to, the fine filter
  • ISO 16890 (ePM1, ePM2.5, ePM10) rated filtration, where a PM-fraction specification is required instead of MERV
  • A gas-phase adsorption module for odour and VOC control; where gas-phase control is the primary duty, our dedicated adsorbers carry higher loading
  • Stainless steel housing for coastal or corrosive sites
  • A variable frequency drive on the fan for part-load savings in variable occupancy
  • Continuous differential-pressure monitoring with remote alarm
  • BACnet or Modbus building management integration, and one shared controller for multi-unit banks

Voltage and frequency follow your site’s supply, at 50 or 60 Hz. For dedicated gas-phase duty, see our dry VOC adsorbers.

Where Our Air Purification Units Are Specified

Our guidance by building type:

  • Commercial buildings: offices, schools, retail centres, and other high-occupancy spaces
  • Healthcare: hospitals, clinics, and life-science facilities
  • Pharmaceutical: manufacturing, where the air has to protect the product as well as the people
  • Manufacturing: dust, fumes, and particulate affecting workers, product quality, and equipment
  • Data centres: where the priority is equipment reliability

Lead Times, Shipping, and Export

Lead time is set by the size, capacity, and scale of the project, starting at 30 days. Bigger or custom-built systems take longer, and the delivery schedule is confirmed with the quotation.

Units ship worldwide, most often to the Middle East and Africa, and we also supply facilities in India. For regional guidance, see Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kenya, Egypt, and India, or browse all locations.

Certified Quality Systems

Quality, environmental, and safety management at our factory are certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, and ISO 45001:2018 respectively. More about the company is on our About page.

What We Need to Quote an Air Purification System

  • Floor area, occupancy, and the ventilation standard your building follows, so the airflow can be calculated
  • Whether the system supplies fresh air, recirculates, or both
  • The filtration grade you need: MERV 13-14, HEPA, or an ISO 16890 class
  • For UV-C, the organisms or risks you are targeting, so lamps can be specified
  • Whether odour or VOC control is needed, and from what source
  • Site details: voltage and frequency, plant-room space and access, and any coastal or corrosive environment
  • Whether you need a single unit, a bank, or a redundant arrangement

Frequently Asked Questions

Are you an air purification system manufacturer or a trading company?

We are a manufacturer. Our air purification units are designed, fabricated, and assembled in our own 30,000 sq ft manufacturing facility.

What is the largest air purification unit you build as a single piece?

The NAP-20000, rated at 20,000 CMH with eight standard filter modules in two rows. Above that we build banks of units, or a single casing made in two or more factory-tested sections that are bolted together and sealed on site.

Can the units include HEPA filtration?

Yes. A HEPA stage (99.97% at 0.3 microns) can be fitted in place of, or in addition to, the fine filter, for cleanroom, healthcare, or biological-containment duties. It makes the fine-filter section larger and raises the pressure drop, which we allow for in the fan selection.

Is UV-C alone enough to treat the air?

No single stage does the whole job. UV-C effectiveness depends on lamp output and lamp count matched to the target organism, not on the chamber's residence time alone, which is why we specify the lamps for your application and combine UV-C with filtration.

What is the minimum lead time?

Orders start at 30 days. Larger systems and bigger projects take longer, and the delivery schedule is confirmed when we quote.

Do you export air purification systems?

Yes. We ship worldwide, and our strongest markets are the Middle East and Africa.
